I bought this Peugeot bike recently at a bike “loppis” (second hand market). The bike had no chain, broken rear derailleur and the handlebar tape is totally gone. The tires are old and need replacement. Especially the front tire, which makes the bike unrideable.
However, the frame is in a good condition, so I decided to buy it and give it a chance.

Identification

I could identify the bike as a Peugeot PH10 (this site sold the same model). The Maillard wheels hubs are from week 12 and 13 of  1985, so is a pretty safe bet to say the bike was sold in 1985.

The PH10 is a lower level model sport bike from Peugeot at that time. “Built with Peugeot’s “House” Carbolite 103 High tensile High carbon tubing, using Peugeot’s internally brazed lugless construction. ” (bike forum)
I started by changing the front tire, just to see how the bike rides.
