Well, since for taking off and cleaning the bottom bracket, I had to remove the pedal arms and the chainset anyways, I also took the opportunity to clean the chainset. I took apart all chainrings, degreased, washed as much as possible with bike-shampoo and mounted it back (of course after putting back the bottom bracket).
